Our Leadership

Stephen Sweeting

Senior Pastor

Steve Sweeting is the founding pastor at Faith Fellowship Church from its start in 2000, but he started his ministry as a Minister of Youth and Education at a church in Williams Bay, Wisconsin in 1979. He later became a Senior Pastor in 1986 at a church in Muskegon, Michigan and moved to New York in 1991.

He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, Illinois; his Master’s degree in Biblical Studies from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, and was ordained May 1982, through Calvary Community Church, Williams Bay, Wisconsin.

He is married to Avis and has three children and eleven grandchildren.

Steven LaMar

Discipleship Pastor

Steve LaMar has been with Faith Fellowship since 2010. He enjoys growing his own food, playing games, cheering for the Buffalo Bills, hiking, and running. He is responsible for missions, outreach, seeing our church grow through Life groups, and pastoral care. He desires to see the community know and love Jesus and with each other.

He earned his Associate in Arts of Humanities degree from Jamestown Community College, Jamestown, NY; Bachelor of Religious Education degree from Davis College, Bible School Park, NY; Master of Divinity degree, and Master of Arts in Youth Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, Wilmore, KY.

He is married to Susan and has two children.

Cliff Baker

Youth Pastor

Before coming to Faith Fellowship Church in 2022, Cliff was the Youth Pastor and a Founding Elder of The Crossing Church in Gore, Oklahoma. He felt the call into ministry back in high school and became ordained in 1987. A few of his achievements in high school include making State Honor Roll, winning Freestyle State Champion and State Wrestler of the Year, and receiving a combination Wrestling and Physics scholarship. He supports OU Sooners sports. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, reading, and playing games.

He graduated from Moore High School in 1983 and attended Carson-Newman College 1984 to 1986.

He is married to Heidi and has four children and thirteen grandchildren.

The purpose of this Church is to see the great commission fulfilled in the greater Genesee Valley through a balance of WINNING the lost, BUILDING the believer, and EQUIPPING the worker, resulting in the making of fully trained disciples.

Our Vision

Our vision at Faith Fellowship Church is to become a body of believers who visibly demonstrate the truth and love of Christ in our community and throughout the world.
